Change your Password

A good password is:

at least 6 characters long
a mixture of letters and numerals
a mixture of upper- and lower-case letters
not easily guessed (e.g., NOT your name, your name spelled backwards, your phone number, or a word in any language, etc.)

Two ways to make good (i.e., not easily guessed) passwords are to join two or more words with punctuation symbols (except ":"), or to use the first letter of each word in a line from a favourite song or poem.

New password:

Since passwords do not appear on the screen as you type them, it is possible to mistype your password and not be aware of it. To avoid this possibility, you'll need to enter your password again.

Re-enter new password:

Note that password changes should take effect immediately. If you should find that your new password doesn't work sometime within 15 minutes after you change it, please contact ensc-webmaster@cs.sfu.ca for assistance.
