Electrophysiology of Cognition

Prerequisites:  Psyc 201, 210, 221 (or 320), and 60 credit hours and a CGPA of 3.0, or 90 credit hours and a CGPA of 2.5. (or instructor's permission)

General Description:

This course takes an in-depth look at the theory and practice of using recordings of electrical activity of the brain to study human cognition.  Major emphasis will be placed on auditory and visual event-related potentials, but other electrophysiological techniques will be discussed.  Considerable hands-on-experience with state-of- the-art recording and analysis techniques will be provided.
