ENSC 406-2: Social Responsibility and Professional Practice

Course Description

This course explores the social implications and/or environmental impacts of a technology relevant to the participants' field of study through research. This course also uses lectures, case studies and group discussions to increase awareness and understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities of professional engineers, including issues of worker and public safety.

Prerequisites

120 credit hours or permission of the instructor.
