ENSC 424-4: Multimedia Communications Engineering Course Description This course covers the technical basis for multimedia communications systems. The main topics are as follows: methods for audio and visual signal compression and processing; the communications requirements of multimedia systems, such as synchronization, quality of service and bandwidth; the architectures and protocols associated with multimedia communications networks.
