Hi. Some of you may be wondering, "What's this?" Don't
be frightened -- it's just the Enscquire. The Enscquire
is the voice of the SFU Engineering undergrads. The EUSS
publishes three per semester (um... yeah). For the last
little (long) while we haven't had too much to say.
Hopefully this will breathe a bit of life back into our
newspaper and we'll see more issues in the near future.
This month's edition isn't exactly a long read, so I thought
I'd tell you all what a "full" Enscquire is like. It's got
coverage of major EUSS events (look for Naomi's great
article on the Polar Plunge next issue!), information about
goings on and upcoming events, thought provoking editorials
(really!), music and movie reviews, and VP reports that
keep you informed of EUSS projects and decisions. But really,
I'll probably publish any article you give me.
The Enscquire is supposed to keep us all on top of what's happening around here. It's supposed to be a venue for debate and discussion (and rambling on about nothing in particular). It's supposed to make us feel like we're part of a community rather than an experiment gone horribly wrong, or some kind of sick joke [a community of engineers: be afraid :) ]. Now that you know what this paper's all about, I'll leave you to it. And don't be afraid to give me an article for February's issue. Enjoy. By the way, thanks to everyone who contributed an article. Who says engineers can't write?
