ENSC 833: NETWORK PROTOCOLS AND PERFORMANCE

Assignment #5:

Read:
  • Kurose and Ross: Chapter 3: Transportation Layer

  • Begin working with the Riverbed Modeler Tutorials:
        1. Tips for Troubleshooting Routing Issues
        2. Introduction to Riverbed Modeler Academic Edition

  • Submit Riverbed Modeler printouts illustrating each step of the Tutorials.
        Briefly describe the main steps.
        Include time-stamps on the printouts.
        Limit your submission to ten pages (excluding the cover page).
  • Include the cover page. It should only include:
        course title (ENSC 833: NETWORK PROTOCOLS AND PERFORMANCE),
        term (Spring 2022),
        assignment number,
        your full name (last name, first name),
        your SFU ID,
        your SFU email address.
        This page should not be counted in the required page limit.
  • Project title, abstract, and a list of five references are due February 13, 2022 (midnight: 11:59 PM + 1 minute).

  • Submit the title, short abstract describing your project, and a list of five references on Canvas.
         Include: the team number, full names (last name, first name), email addresses of team members,
         project title, the abstract of your project, and the list of five references for your project.
  • Collect for your records references for your project (either a hard copy or electronic versions).
  • Continue working on the topic for your final project.
  • Browse through past projects.

    Note: Past ENSC 833, ENSC 835, ENSC 894, and ENSC 895 projects have been submitted by graduate students.
    ENSC 427 students will not be expected to deliver the same scope and level of difficulty for their projects.
