Weighted Fair Queuing:
- Introduced in 1990 by A. Demers, S. Keshav, and S. Shenker
- Extends fair queuing by considering the size of packets
- Used arrival times of packets and packet sizes to calculate which packet is transmitted next.
- Unwieldy to implement in silicon.
