Research Interests

Dr. Gruver's research program in robotics and intelligent systems emphasizes holonic and collaborative agent systems, distributed communications and control, distributed sensing, including their applications to manufacturing automation, distributed energy resources, and rehabilitation.

Staff and students in the Laboratory have extensive research interaction with the Vancouver Innovation Centre of the National Research Council of Canada. Collaborative projects are conducted with companies and research laboratories in Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, and the United States.
