greetings from prince george

Hey All,

Good morning from the Wintery North. Guess what everybody, PRINCE GEORGE IS THAWED (yaaahhhh *thunderous applause*) Sorry. I get excited about these things. I can't say this article is going to have a whole heck of a lot to do with Engineering stuff, as I'm not in an academic semester, but I'll ramble anyways. One thing I've noticed is that birthdays are kind of, sort of recognized, but not always. Maybe we should find a better way of consistently recognizing people's b-days. On a different note, if someone could briefly tell me the differences between AutoCAD and IntelliCAD 98, that would be greatly appreciated. I've played with both, and the only difference I've noticed so far is that the toolbars in IntelliCAD are all icons instead of words. And on yet another different note, if anybody needs a stress break during the summer semester, I recommend the parks around P.G. The weather is already looking up and the parks here are REALLY well maintained. The rivers are still a little cold to be swimming in (tried last weekend - turned me blue) but the lakes and stuff probably aren't too bad. There's lots to do up here, so if any of you are interested, drive on up and give me a ring, I'll give you a tour, etc. For the "first years" attending the summer semester, make sure we keep up our appearances at events, especially pool league. We finally started to make a dent in the standings, let's not lose our place. Finally, I'd just like to point out that Tim Norman is a ruthless dictator who has flunkies in Prince George, holding a knife to my throat, forcing me to type this article. I wish everyone the best in their studies (or lack thereof :) and will hopefully see you in the fall.
