polar plunge 2002

2002 | 2000 | 1999 | 1998 | 1997 | 1996

Four inches. That was how thick the ice on the pond was the morning of February 1st. Two hours. That was how long it took Jessica McAllister and Jeremy to clear it. Needless to say, the water was freezing.

This year, 28 brave volunteers, including two professors, took the Plunge while emcees Amy Atai and Nick Meisl entertained the crowd and our resident BBQ-guy, Dave Ciampi, fired up the grill. The Variety Club's Giovanni Festa was also on hand to witness our insanity. In total, over $2200 was raised for BC's special kids!

Again, many thanks to the volunteers and donors for making the Polar Plunge a continued annual success!

Brrrrrr!
