The English Toolbox This well-organized website provides an excellent resource for non-native speakers of English. It has sections on article usage, verb tenses, and verb patterns. In addition, it provides links to a range of English handbooks and dictionaries. As well, you will find a rangle of quizzes and crossword puzzles that will help you expand your vocabulary. Highly recommended site.
Guide to Grammar and Writing This website provides an easy-to-follow guide to subject-verb agreement. In addition, the homepage provides links to an array of topics related to English grammar. Highly recommended site.

The Synonym Finder Urdang, L., Rodale, J., and LaRoche, N. 1986. The Synonym Finder. Warner Books. ISBN: 0-44-637029-0. This thesaurus is one of the most comprehensive available. Highly recommended.
